Two teens were nabbed by cops after a brazen daylight robbery in the nation's capital, authorities said. According to Metropolitan Police Department, a 13-year-old from Northeast, DC, and a 14-year-old from Northwest, DC, targeted an individual in what authorities described as a violent mugging.

The incident, which went down last Saturday around 5:40 p.m. on the 3200 block of Hiatt Place, Northwest, saw the victim assaulted and stripped of their belongings by the young assailants. Metro PD swiftly responded to the distress call, and the suspects were promptly apprehended. The two juveniles have since been slapped with robbery charges with an added element of force and violence.
