The coveted accolade, granted on Thursday, honors those wearing the badge who have executed over 150 DWI arrests in a single year.

In 2023, Streiff's tally reached 156, marking him as one of just three officers in Minnesota to lay claim to this recognition. Having surpassed the threshold for the second consecutive year, Officer Streiff, a grant-funded full-time DWI enforcer of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, stands as a bulwark against impaired driving. Coming up to the holiday weekend, Officer Streiff, along with his colleagues, will be patrolling the streets with vigilance for those who haven’t yet received the message: alcohol and driving is a lethal concoction.
