A man on the lam accused of snuffing out the life of another in a brutal Fall River shooting has been nabbed by the fuzz in Connecticut. Lee George-Maldonado, 28, was arrested in Willimantic, Conn. on Thursday, after being fingered for the murder of 44-year-old Juan Castro last December, as reported by NBC Boston.

Marshals caught up with George-Maldonado, who hails from Puerto Rico and is staring down the barrel of charges including murder, illegal firearm possession, and kidnapping, he now sits in the clink awaiting a trip back to Massachusetts to face the music, Boston 25 News outlined the rap sheet.

This ain't George-Maldonado's first rodeo with the law, as he's also wanted back in Puerto Rico for dealings with domestic violence, this makes the Fall River homicide allegations even more grievous. The U.S. Marshals put cuffs on him at a residence on Taylor Court in Willimantic, where it's said he was laying low after Castro was gunned down cold on Bank Street on December 23, 2023.

Angel Fabian Robles-Nicasio got tagged earlier in January in relation to the same case, as part of a Willimantic Police crackdown on racketeering and gang-related trouble, nabbing both suspects shines a light on a larger tangle of crime, and the local SWAT and detectives aided the marshals in the collar, according to details from the Bristol County District Attorney's Office relayed by NBC Boston.
