Law enforcement officers responded to the situation where two individuals had reportedly engaged in a confrontation leading to the gun's accidental discharge. The male victim was discovered in a vehicle, struck by a bullet to the chest, behind a house on Fain Street. Parallel to this, an earlier investigation was carried out by Metro Nashville Police after another shooting incident occurred in the same vicinity. This separate event unfolded early on the same day around 5:45 A.M., at the intersection of Fain Street and Fairfield Avenue, according to details from WSMV. That incident left one person with non-life-threatening injuries and led officers to comb the neighborhood for evidence, discovering multiple shell casings on the street.
