Tennessee Department of Education Readies Students for Upcoming TCAP Assessments
The 2026 KIDS COUNT Data Book places Tennessee 37th overall — education scores improved, but child deaths, housing costs and uninsured rates rose.
Equally Created will open two early-learning centers in The Nations and Clifton this fall, adding about 220 seats and more sliding-scale care for Nashville families.
The Tennessee Department of Education is promoting the TCAP assessments for grades 3-8 from April 15 to May 3, emphasizing their importance in informing educational strategies and showcasing student proficiency across multiple subjects.
