A late-night shooting in the Taraval District has left one woman dead, the San Francisco Police Department reported. The victim, an adult female, was found suffering from gunshot wounds after arriving at a local hospital shortly before midnight on May 22. Despite the medical team's efforts to save her life, she was pronounced dead at the facility.

The SFPD Homicide Detail immediately took over the investigation to try to understand the circumstances surrounding the tragic event. As of now, no suspects have been apprehended in connection with the homicide. The police seek the public's assistance in gathering information that may lead to an arrest.
