The event, scheduled for May 21, was to offer community members a chance to exchange plants and share their love for horticulture.

City officials are currently scrambling for a rescheduled date and have assured the public that new details will be posted as soon as they're hammered out. Residents itching to swap their spider plants for some succulents will have to keep a close eye on the city's website and social media for updates about the event's new itinerary.
