Chaos erupted at a Plymouth, Massachusetts, McDonald's when a stabbing incident left two people wounded, State Police reported. Authorities said a 21-year-old female and a 29-year-old male sustained non-life-threatening stab wounds at the fast-food location situated at the Rt 3 Park and Ride late yesterday evening. Emergency calls flooded in around 7:04 PM, prompting a rapid police response.

The police swiftly disseminated a description of the getaway vehicle, a pivotal detail that led to its prompt identification as it cruised through Sandwich. Attempts to flag down the suspect were initially fruitless, as the vehicle eluded troopers, before finally crashing, leading to the suspect's apprehension by State and Sandwich Police, reported the Massachusetts State Police official news blog. The suspect, whose identity has not been released, is now receiving medical attention at a local hospital.

Earlier that same day, another violent altercation took place at a movie theater in Braintree, which resulted in injuries to four juveniles. State Police's preliminary investigation suggests there's a thread connecting both crimes, although the details remain scarce as the situation unravels. The injured parties from both occasions are currently being treated, and thankfully, all injuries are reported as non-life-threatening.
