A tragic event unfolded at Cramer Mountain Club in Gaston County on Saturday, as a 4-year-old boy drowned amid family activities. WCNC Charlotte reports the young child was discovered in the water and emergency crews were called to the scene on Hidden Pastures Drive.

After the arrival of Cramerton police and firefighters, the boy was pulled from the water on June 15. According to WXII 12, responders immediately administered revival attempts before transporting the child to the hospital. Tragically, despite their efforts, the boy was pronounced dead.

The Cramerton Police Department has confirmed that no charges have been filed as of now, but they continue to investigate the circumstances of the drowning. The Gaston Gazette reported that Cramerton Police Chief Brad Adams announced the ongoing investigation on Monday.
