The Holland Police Department expressed its appreciation for the diligent work done on the case, emphasizing the many hours invested by investigators to reach the conviction.

"Holland DPS investigators put in many hours over the past year investigating and working on this case," the Holland Department of Public Safety said, gratitude was also extended to Ottawa County Prosecutor Lee Fisher and Assistant Prosecutor Megan Hurley for their roles in the investigation and trial that culminated in Thursday's verdict, as reported by WZZM 13. Taylor's sentencing is set for July 22, an event that will bring some closure to this tragic episode.
