An early morning crash in Little Haiti involving a Miami-Dade Police cruiser resulted in one person being hospitalized on Monday. The collision occurred near NW 71st Street and NW 2nd Avenue, and the Miami-Dade Police Department reported that their officers responded to the incident around 6 a.m. after a report of a traffic crash involving a man and an on-duty police vehicle, as covered by NBC6. Images from the scene showed a silver Toyota sedan with significant passenger-side damage and a cruiser that appeared to have collided with a pole.
