The boy, whose identity has not been released, was discovered in a critical condition after being found in the pool. Using a helicopter, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue airlifted the young victim to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. Sadly, he was pronounced dead following arrival at the hospital.

"Despite best efforts from first responders, he was pronounced dead upon arrival," a statement obtained by WSVN detailed. The news has left the community reeling, and detectives are currently assessing the circumstances surrounding the incident, including any potential charges that may arise from the event.

Homicide detectives from the Miami-Date Police Department are investigating the boy’s death, as confirmed by Detective Angel Rodriguez, a spokesperson for the department.
