According to the arrest report, the incident happened during a full-body massage when Destrades Llanes, reportedly digitally penetrated the woman's vagina while massaging her thigh. After the alleged incident, the victim stated that Destrades Llanes offered her cash not to disclose the event, a statement by Miami police noted. When she declined the cash, he attempted to send her $200 via Zelle, though the transaction was not completed due to an incorrect phone number provided by the victim.

The WSVN coverage on the case shared that Destrades Llanes acknowledged the possibility of unintentionally touching the victim's vagina during the massage. The police report cites that he believed the victim was soliciting him for money as compensation for the unauthorized touch.

Following the investigation, Destrades Llanes was apprehended and confined at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, facing charges of second-degree sexual battery without serious injury. Miami Police responded to the scene, interviewing both the massage therapist and the client before making the arrest.

The accused appeared before a judge who found probable cause for the charges. As of the latest reports, Destrades Llanes remains in custody, held on a $7,500 bond and under a magistrate hold.
