The Ocoee Police Department is actively seeking leads after two men were reportedly attacked and robbed at gunpoint late Saturday night. The incident took place on South Circle Key Drive, as confirmed by ClickOrlando. The victims had been on their way home from El Tequila, a local establishment on West Silver Star Road, when the assailant, operating a white SUV, accosted them.

Details on the assailant are limited but the suspect is described to be a Black man in his 30s with 5 to 6-inch long hair. At the time of the crime, he was dressed in a dark sweatshirt and pants. Witnesses stated the man exited his SUV, approaching the two victims before proceeding to pistol-whip them and forcibly take their wallets. Despite the violent encounter, the suspect managed to quickly reenter his vehicle and to then escape from the scene. Images of the vehicle involved have been distributed by the authorities in a bid to garner public assistance.

Both men suffered injuries in the assault and were treated for the same. WFTV reported on the incident, noting that one of the victims had been hurt more severely than the other. "He was all covered in blood," a neighbor recounted, painting a stark picture of the aftermath that prompted immediate calls to 911.

Community members are expressing concern over the brazen nature of the attacks. "You shouldn't have to be scared to walk back home," one local resident lamented in an interview with WESH 2.
