An urgent search is underway in Mesa, Arizona after the disappearance of an elderly man, Robert Haymaker. According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety's Silver Alert, the 88-year-old has been missing since the early hours of Friday, June 14.

Robert was last seen at his residence near N 92nd St & E McLellan Rd Mesa AZ at around 6:15 am before being reported missing by his son that afternoon. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is leading the efforts to locate Haymaker, who is described as a white male, 5'10", with a weight of 165 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes. Of concern, is that Haymaker suffers from a medical condition, which may impair his ability to find his way back safely.

At the time of his disappearance, the missing senior was said to be dressed in a short-sleeve striped tan/blue button-up shirt, blue jeans with a western belt buckle, and distinctive Nike tennis shoes with orange soles. Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings of Haymaker.

Community members who may have seen Haymaker or have information on his whereabouts are encouraged to contact the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. The issued Silver Alert remains active, and the MCSO is appealing to the public for help, as each moment that passes could be crucial in ensuring Robert's safe return.
