The Chicago Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 23-year-old Angelina Cortez, who was last seen on June 14, 2024, in the vicinity of the 2200 block of W Division. Cortez is described as Hispanic, with a height of 5 feet 1 inch, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown eyes, brown hair, light complexion, and identifiable marks including a birthmark near her belly button and a tattoo on the back of her neck. According to the CPD's report, she is a frequenter of the Lincoln Park area and might be urgently in need of medical assistance.

The police stress that any piece of information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could be key to ensuring her safe return.

The CPD and those close to Cortez urge the public to remain vigilant, to look closely at the faces that pass by in the street, and to keep in mind the distinguishing features that might identify the missing 23-year-old.
