On a routine traffic stop last Thursday, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office might have expected a usual bout of minor infractions. Instead, they discovered that the driver, Kevin Johnson, was carrying a significant legal burden – 15 open misdemeanor warrants to be precise. The stop, which took place on the 22000 block of Kuykendahl Road, escalated rapidly once Johnson's identity and outstanding warrants were confirmed.

It has been reported by the Constable's Facebook page that the deputies, who had initially stopped Johnson for an undisclosed reason, unveiled a trail of misdemeanors attached to his name. These legal orders, whilst individually perhaps minor, collectively painted a portrait of a man significantly entangled with the judicial system.

Once the warrants were verified, Johnson found himself under arrest. "Kevin Johnson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants," Constable Mark Herman stated. Details on the nature of the misdemeanors, however, were not immediately disclosed, and as of now, Johnson awaits the setting of his bond and his subsequent court information.
