Reminder: Community Meeting For Upper Haight Streetscaping TonightImage: via SF Public Works

As we reported last week, a community meeting is being held tonight to discuss the forthcoming Public Realm and Muni Forward projects in the Haight. It'll showcase proposed designs for future corner adornments, sidewalk tiles, and pedestrian-scale lighting, and locals can take surveys and give feedback about their preferences. It begins at 6:30pm at Park Branch Library,

This Saturday at 10am, neighbors can join SF Public Works and an urban forester to discuss the trees that are slated for removal along Haight Street. The group will meet outside Whole Foods, on the Haight Street side, and take a walking tour of the trees.

You can find more details about both meetings, as well as an update on the Muni Forward and Public Realm projects, here.
