4 Best Spots to Catch the Sunrise in Mexico City

Waking up at the crack of dawn is not an easy feat. Just remember that there's a picturesque view of the sunrise waiting behind the curtains you draw close every night:

1. The Zócalo
What better time to experience Mexico City’s main square than at sunrise? Soak in some beauty while the usual crowds of tourists are still asleep. Plaza de la Constitución S/N, Centro, Cuauhtémoc.

2. El Ángel
El Ángel is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Mexico City. Head early to Paseo de la Reforma to watch the sun radiate off of the monument. Paseo de la Reforma y Eje 2 PTE, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc.

3. Alameda Central
Next to the Palacio de Bellas Artes, you can find Alameda Central, a scenic public park in downtown Mexico City filled with decorative statues and fountains. Av. Hidalgo S/N, Cuauhtemoc, Centro.

4. Teotihuacan Pyramids
Located just an hour away from the city, Teotihuacan is a popular destination for visitors who want to catch the sun rising over the pyramids. Book a tour or take the bus to reach the ancient Mesoamerican city.
