Since the outcome of the 2016 presidential election became official Wednesday morning, San Francisco residents have taken to the streets for five nights straight to voice their opposition to President-elect Donald J. Trump.
Throughout this past weekend, protests across the city ranged in style. Some gathered in Dolores Park to exchange hugs, some lit candles in mourning and others continued to march through the streets.
While demonstrations were largely peaceful, they weren't all without incident. According to the SFPD, a 20-year-old woman participating in Thursday evening's protest in UN Plaza was robbed and kicked by a group of 10 teenagers, ages 14-17.
For those who opted to reflect indoors this weekend—or just couldn't make it to every protest possible—here's a glance at a few of the gatherings.

With school out of session for Veteran's Day—and on the heel's of Thursday's walk-out—local high schoolers marched to City Hall again in protest of the president-elect.

From 11am-1pm yesterday, the Richmond District Blog and Brighton Miller, owner of Nourish Cafe at Sixth Avenue and California, led a march to the beach.
In a speech preceding the rally, Miller said the community would "fight it in all its forms, whenever and wherever it emerges. We will not accept leadership that is divisive, abusive or vengeful. Hate may have won this election, but we must make sure it does not define us."
Later yesterday afternoon, sit-ins and marches continued in the Castro and Mission districts.
