If you're looking for the best places to cut loose and enjoy some local beer or cider in Dallas, Hoodline's got you covered. We've combed through the Yelp reviews to see where people truly like to go.

1. Deep Ellum Brewing Company

Topping the list is Deep Ellum Brewing Company. Located at 2823 St Louis St. in the Deep Ellum neighborhood, the brewery is the highest rated brewery in Dallas, boasting 4.5 stars out of 358 reviews on Yelp.

Deep Ellum Brewing Company makes all of the beer it has on tap on site, including the Deep Summer (summer ale with hibiscus, lemon peel and chamomile flowers), the Oak Cliff Coffee Ale (dark brown coffee-infused ale with hints of chocolate), or the Dallas Blonde (American blonde ale with citrus and floral hops with pale, Vienna and wheat malts). There's outdoor seating with patio games and fans. The indoor bar has board games and a souvenir shop. Pets and families are welcome.

2. Bishop Cider Co.

Oak Cliff's Bishop Cider Co., located at 509 N. Bishop Ave., Suite C, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the cidery 4.5 stars out of 130 reviews.

Bishop Cider Co., as the name might suggest, makes nothing other than cider. You can order a sampler flight of ciders or even take a growler of your favorite to-go. It's always got four year-round ciders in cans (Crackberry, Blood Orange, Apple Pineapple and OG). Then there are six draft-only limited releases per year (a new one every two months).

Vincent L. reviewed it last fal, "A compact venue with friendly service and a half dozen tasty ciders. You can try all six in a sampler flight. All of them were good, with things getting progressively better starting with the lemon tart, then with the OG (original), apple pineapple, blood orange, crackberry, and, best of all, the salted caramel apple."

3. Cidercade

Cidercade is technically run by Bishop Cider Co., but it's a worthy inclusion all the same. It's an arcade in Design District that offers up Bishop's ciders. A much-loved go-to, it has 4.5 stars out of 125 Yelp reviews. Head over to 2777 Irving Blvd., Suite 200, to see for yourself.

With over 165 arcade games and 24 ciders on tap, it's the place to go if you want have some fun near downtown Dallas. It's also got some basic snacks available, and you can even bring your own food or have some delivered. There are usually food trucks outside on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Yelper Dan P. shared his experience on May 21, saying, "Well, there isn't much to say about this place other than it's totally freaking awesome. It combines two of my favorite things, pinball and hard cider...  I had a great time here. The cider was tasty, and the games all delivered."

4. Four Corners Brewing

Over in South Dallas, check out Four Corners Brewing, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 114 reviews on Yelp. You can find the brewery at 1311 S. Ervay St.

It offers brews made on site, sampler flights and even brewery tours.

Rachel W., who visited on April 1, said, "This place brews some great beer. Do the tour and learn about how they started and got their name. The brewers and bartenders are super nice and knowledgeable. The taproom is spacious and, if it's nice out, they have bags boards outside. The Super Bee and Local Buzz are my favorites."

5. Peticolas Brewing Company

Last but not least, there's Peticolas Brewing Company, a Near East favorite with 4.5 stars out of 109 reviews. Stop by 2026 Farrington St. to hit up the brewery and take a tour the next time you're looking to satisfy your cravings.
