The family-owned eatery offers curry chicken, beef stew and curry goat, as well as potato salad, coleslaw and white rice. Vegan burger patties and curries are also available.

3. Elena Ruz Cuban Cuisine

Elena Ruz Cuban Cuisine, a beer bar and Cuban spot in Fairgrounds, is another inexpensive go-to, with four stars out of 59 Yelp reviews. Head over to 2201 E. 46th St., Suite 207, Black Circle Brewing Company to see for yourself.
