Columbus Public Works has moved into a 75,000-square-foot facility five times larger than its former home, adding room for fleet maintenance, storage and city services.

The Henry Street span has been officially renamed Greenlawn Memorial Bridge after months of archaeological work that unearthed 1,700+ grave shafts at the former Greenlawn Cemetery. The board vote formalizes a plan to pair construction with memorialization.

Greenwood's council approved a municipal wheel tax to preserve state matching road grants. Passenger cars will pay $25 a year and larger vehicles $40 starting in 2027.
