The Escondido Police Department is embracing this eerie time of year with its 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat Halloween Event. This popular event, which has captured the hearts and imagination of the Escondido community, is scheduled for Saturday, October 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 380 N. Escondido Blvd (Woodward Parking Lot), according to the Escondido Police Department.

Residents can expect not only candy galore, costumes, and vehicle displays, but also music and opportunities for the community to come together. Its sole purpose is not just about ghosts and goblins, but fostering connections within the Escondido community.

The event announcement highlights returning vehicle displays, which have been taking their Halloween-themed decorations to new heights. 

With such a beloved event, it's no surprise that the police department is anticipating a large turnout, subsequently requesting pre-packaged candy donations from the public. For those interested in sharing their Halloween spirit further, they also encourage participation through vehicle displays (decorating is not required, though certainly appreciated).
