As WCVB reports, Bosse Sports is leasing the building from Bulfinch. The envisioned facility will boast 21 courts, including a lounge and event space, training center, locker rooms, physical therapy area, full-service restaurant, and two bars. They aim to be operational by summer or fall of 2024. Bulfinch's collaboration with Bosse, who had prior ties to the mall, lends strategic value to the project.

According to Bosse, pickleball's growing popularity is due to its affordability, social appeal, and accessible nature. Despite ensuing issues like player disputes and noise complains, Bosse sees an opportunity in providing dedicated indoor spaces.
