The situation escalated when dispatch informed the officers that a separate group of suspects was reportedly trying to break into a car just blocks away; the officers quickly moved to intercept, arriving at the scene on the 1000 block of St Louis Street, they detained several juveniles and during the bust, they discovered and confiscated three firearms with ammunition. This sequence of events underscored the department's commitment to ensuring the community's safety and followed on the heels of their first successful arrest, as per Long Beach PD (CA).
The juvenile suspects involved in both incidents were detained, and their identities have not been disclosed due to legal constraints concerning minors.
