Chandler resident Crystal Brown is reeling from a ferocious dog attack that allegedly occurred near her workplace at Alma School and Ray Roads. As police arrived on the scene, they discovered the injured victim and no sign of the canine's owner. Brown recounted her ordeal to FOX 10 Phoenix, expressing her desire to raise awareness in hopes of preventing future attacks.

According to Brown's interview, the attack happened suddenly as she was loading her car. "It was going into my flesh. It clinched on, and it was the worst pain, to be honest, I ever felt. It was horrible," Brown said. The assailant dogs, described as pitbull or pitbull mixes, were apparently running at her while their owners called after them. Brown suffered seven puncture wounds and still experiences pain when putting weight on one foot, as per details obtained by Rampart Inspections.

The incident left Brown in dismay, particularly when one of the owners took control of the animals but allegedly disregarded her plea for help. "I said, 'Please help me,' and she continued to walk. I said, 'You're just going to leave me here?'" Brown recalled in her interview with FOX 10 Phoenix. While her physical injuries are clear, the psychological trauma lingers as does her disappointment in the owner's response—or lack thereof.

Brown's therapy dog in training, Ellie, fortunately, remained unharmed during the incident and was inside the car at the time. Despite the traumatic experience, Brown insists she harbors no revenge but hopes that the dog's owner will step forward and take responsibility. "The way that dog bit me, I don’t think it was the first time the dog bit someone. He wasn’t intimidated to bite me," Brown shared with Rampart Inspections. Chandler Police encourage anyone with information about the incident to call their nonemergency number at 480-782-4130.
