San Antonio music fans have reason to get amped up as Escape The Fate and an Emo Orchestra are slated to hit the historic Tobin Center for the Performing Arts early next month.  Come May 9, the H-E-B Performance Hall will be the stage for a fusion of pounding emo rock and symphonic grandeur, showcasing orchestral arrangements of classic emo hits, dialed to eleven.

Escape The Fate isn't stranger to the scene, being recognized for their melodic potency on tracks like "One for the Money" and the heartbreak anthem "Broken Heart." As a headline act, they're teaming up with Emo Orchestra, a collective that brilliantly specializes in giving emo music an orchestral overhaul. According to Express News, ticket sales are kicking off bright and early at 10 a.m. this Friday, with prices starting at a cool $39.50.

This isn't the first rodeo for the Emo Orchestra – they debuted on tour last year with Hawthorne Heights and are apparently looking to up the ante this time around. Fans can expect a rich tapestry of music featuring not just Escape The Fate's own tunes, but also a collection of emo favorites from bands like My Chemical Romance and Good Charlotte, as detailed in reports from Express News.

Evan Rogers, the man behind the baton and the arrangements for Emo Orchestra, shared on Instagram his creative process for adapting the emo repertoire to a full orchestra. "To interpret each song for the orchestra, for me, it was about finding the underlying feeling of the song and then kind of blowing that up and putting it on the orchestra so that every song felt quite different," Rogers elucidated, in a statement obtained by FOX San Antonio.
