The Longview Fire Department was dispatched to the 2700 block of Fir Street shortly after 2 a.m. Monday, where they encountered the structure fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to nearby homes.

Despite the significant damage inflicted upon the garage, the efforts of the first responders prevented the fire from causing extensive harm to the surrounding area.
