Portland Water Bureau Detects Cryptosporidium in City's Drinking Source, Precautions Advised for Compromised Immune Systems
Low levels of Cryptosporidium were found in Portland's Bull Run Watershed, the city's water source. No treatment is in place yet, but a filtration system is planned by 2027. People with weak immune systems are advised to consult their doctors.
