Chaos erupted Wednesday morning at a high school in Hollywood, Florida, following reports of a possible weapon on campus that led to a school lockdown. Police units descended on Hollywood Hills High School, located at 5400 Stirling Road, to swiftly conduct a search operation.

Authorities were quick to act, carefully to survey the sprawling grounds of the high school after receiving the alarming call. According to WSVN, the Hollywood Police arrived on scene with multiple cruisers as the aerial coverage from 7Skyforce captured the tense situation from above. During their thorough investigation, officers did not locate any weapon and no arrests were made following the sweep of the school.

The lockdown, which extended to the neighboring Stirling Elementary School as a precaution, was eventually lifted after the threat was deemed as unfounded. A spokesperson for Broward County Public Schools relayed the development to Local 10 News, stating, "The report has been determined unfounded and the lockdown has since been cleared."
