Philadelphia police are urgently searching for a female suspect involved in a deadly shooting in the city's 17th District as the city reels from another bout of gun violence. The incident unfolded on the evening of May 13, when a 35-year-old man was brutally gunned down following an argument with the armed suspect and another woman deemed a person of interest by authorities.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department's official report, the altercation occurred just after 6:30 p.m. at 1946 Federal Street. With gunshots ringing through the air, the suspect, described as a black female with short braids, clad in a white hooded sweatshirt, and dark pants, was last seen fleeing the scene that left the man lifeless and the community in despair.

The city, grappling with a surge of homicides, is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator behind this heinous crime. Alongside the description of the suspected shooter, authorities are also seeking details on another woman who might hold key information to solving this case. Distinguishable by her headscarf, blue jeans jacket, and black shirt, this second black female's connection to the deadly confrontation is yet to be fully understood.
