Robbers made away with an estimated $250k in cash after a calculated break-in at an Atlanta business. The Atlanta Police Department reported that the burglary took place in the early hours of May 6 at a premises located at 1888 Cheshire Bridge Rd.

According to the police, the incident was sophisticated and involved two masked suspects who entered the building from an unusual point of entry – the ceiling. The burglary, which occurred around 4:16 am, came to light when officers arrived on the scene and spoke with the reporting party, Atlanta PD notes. An initial sweep by investigators uncovered that the culprits carefully maneuvered to the safes and with the use of power tools, cut into them to access the large sum of cash.

One striking detail of the crime was that the establishment's alarm systems were not tripped during the incident.
