The City of Carmel has officially appointed Bradley Pease as its new Director of Engineering, a move aimed at further developing the city's infrastructure, in an announcement per a recent press release. Pease, bringing his wide-ranging expertise, is set to steer significant city projects, including the expansion and modernization efforts in Carmel's development plan.
In previous roles, Pease garnered almost a decade's worth of experience with the Carmel engineering team, and his return is marked by expectations that he will handle everything from roadways and paths to stormwater and utility projects—the kind of jobs that don't pause for fanfare, but instead demand consistent, quiet diligence. Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam expressed her confidence in Pease's capacity to shoulder these responsibilities, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Brad Pease as the new Director of Engineering for the City of Carmel. After a spell with the City of Fishers, Pease is back in Carmel, equipped with the technical know-how that comes with a BS from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a Master of Jurisprudence from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. His professional credentialing as a PE, or Professional Engineer, underscores his preparedness for the complex challenges that will inevitably come with Carmel's infrastructure ambitions.
