A single-vehicle accident has left a man in critical condition in southeast Shelby County on Thursday evening. The Shelby County Sheriff's Office reported responding to the crash on Shelby Drive near Forest Hill Irene Road at about 6:25 p.m.

According to the incident report, an SUV lost control, crossing the median, and subsequently rolled over across the westbound lanes. Rushing from the scene, the injured man was transported to Regional One Hospital, observed to be in critical condition by deputies upon their arrival.
