A Tampa Walmart was the scene of a violent altercation that resulted in the arrest of an employee, according to Tampa police. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon at the Walmart located at 1505 North Dale Mabry Highway, as the City of Tampa reported, officers were dispatched to the store in response to an altercation inside.

Police stated that the confrontation began with an argument between a vendor and other individuals, which escalated to a point, where 18-year-old Walmart employee, Jhustin ViloriaJimenez, pulled out a knife and cut another person, during the melee a victim sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was later transported to the hospital, as outlined by FOX 13 News.

Following the incident, the store was temporarily closed to allow for an investigation into the circumstances of the fight; it has since been reopened for business. ViloriaJimenez is now facing charges of culpable negligence actual injury, with WTSP 10 News noting that detectives are continuing their efforts to ascertain the full details of the events leading up to the altercation.
