Glendale Police Seek Public Help Identifying Suspect in ATM Robbery, Silent Witness Offers Cash RewardSource: Silent Witness

Glendale police and Silent Witness are currently seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect connected to an armed robbery that occurred in mid-May. According to ABC15, the incident took place shortly after 9 p.m. on May 19 near a bank close to Loop 101 and Camelback Road.

Reportedly, the assailant confronted the victim following a withdrawal from a walk-up ATM. As he walked back to his vehicle, he was blindsided by the suspect, who struck him from behind on the head with a firearm, a detailed sequence of events provided in the surveillance video that Silent Witness has released. The suspect then appropriated the victim's money and wallet before making his escape.

The suspect, described in reports from both 12 News and ABC15, is said to be a Hispanic male, around 30 years old. A grey 2008-2015 GMC pickup truck, caught on camera, was the vehicle seen used to flee westbound on Camelback Road after the incident.

The man was last seen attired in a dark hoodie emblazoned with a Buffalo Chip Bull logo, alongside blue jeans, and brown boots. Police caution that this individual should be considered armed and dangerous, with the surveillance footage serving as a stark reminder of the violence he employed. The suspect left the scene hastily in the GMC truck described earlier that was grey.

If anyone has information that could lead to the identification or location of the suspect, they are urged to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS, or to submit a tip through the Silent Witness website for potentially earning a cash reward. Tips can be offered anonymously, and rewards are provided for information that results in an arrest or indictment, although one must contact Silent Witness prior to these events to qualify for a reward.
