Authorities are seeking the public's help to identify a man accused of lifting nearly $5,000 worth of merchandise from the Versace store at the Houston Premium Outlet Mall. The incident, which occurred on June 29, has spurred a response from Constable Mark Herman's Office after the suspect allegedly took various items and fled the luxury store.

According to a statement obtained by Constable Mark Herman's Office, the store management confronted the individual who is described as a black male in his thirties, before he proceeded to hastily leave the premises with the stolen goods. The situation escalated when the suspect was to directly be recorded by a witness's cellphone, capturing the theft on video.

The video shared by Constable Mark Herman's Office shows the suspect operating a 2011 black Chevrolet Volt, distinguished by its temporary tags. Officials are now reaching out to anyone who might recognize the vehicle or have information regarding the identity of the suspect.

In the immediate aftermath of the theft, the urgency to apprehend the suspect is clear, with an active call for community assistance. "If you have any information in regards to the identity of this suspect, please contact our dispatch at 281-376-3472,” urged Herman.
