Twelve-year-old Taeshawn Battles was last seen around noon on Saturday at his residence on the 2200 block of East Hills Drive, and concerns for his welfare are growing as the public is urged to come forward with any information.

A description of Taeshawn has been widely circulated, hoping someone might recognize him. According to WPXI, he stands at five-foot-three and weighs 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Clad in his usual black balaclavas, which Taeshawn is often seen wearing, has also been a key detail shared by the police in the search effort.

Pittsburgh Public Safety has suggested that Taeshawn could be anywhere in the vicinity of Pittsburgh or Wilkinsburg. As the hours tick by without any news of his whereabouts, the concern among the community and law enforcement officers has palpably intensified. Lead detectives from the Special Victims Unit of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police are spearheading the search.
