Demolition at Hyde Park is complete and the city has greenlit a $4.32M aquatic center with shallow-water features and a renovated pool house. Work is slated to finish by May 2027.

A city committee advanced a plan to build a regional pool in south Overland Park that would retire Bluejacket and Stonegate; the full council will review it this fall.
