Brookside Snags Disco Burger As River Market Smash Lands On 63rd Street
The beloved West Side courtyard bar Panthers Place will close 1000 W. 25th St. at the end of October and relocate to a larger indoor-outdoor space at 1 Shawnee Ave.
Waterbird Coffee will return to downtown Kansas City in mid‑August under new owners Adraina and Matt Holopirek. Expect Scratch KC pastries, Foxen‑roasted coffee and new seating.
Disco Burger announced a Brookside storefront at 600 E. 63rd and plans to serve takeout while crews finish the dining room. Limited hours and a walk‑up window are in place.
