RNM Closes for Renovations
In an abrupt move, RNM restaurant (at Haight and Steiner) is closing for a 3-month overhaul.

A couple of readers tipped us to a sign posted on the restaurant's door yesterday announcing the closure. The sign reads:
To Our RNM Patrons, Effective today, RNM will be closed for 3 months to undergo extensive renovations. We have loved serving the Lower Haight for almost eight years now and look forward to re-opening in this neighborhood better than ever. Thank you for supporting us, and we look forward to seeing you in the Fall.
No details about the closure are mentioned on the restaurant's website or Facebook page. In fact, a Facebook update from June 2nd mentions a special menu available "now until June 15th," which makes us wonder just how anticipated this closure was. We've reached out to the RNM team, and will update this post with any more details.
