Macy’s, located on 34th Street in Herald Square, covered part of the store from floor to ceiling in beautiful floral arrangements as part of its annual two-week floral exhibition.

This year’s theme was “America the Beautiful,” which celebrated the “vast and varied landscapes” that can be found across the United States. Thousands of flowers were used to create the carefully arranged showpieces. While browsing through the store, I came across flora that was indigenous to iconic regions, such as the “Majestic Rockies” and the “Fruited Plains” of the Midwest. Special events included seminars and live music.

After a snow-laden winter, there’s was no better way to welcome spring. This year, the exhibition is also being held in Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Chicago and San Francisco.
