Dabba Debuts On Stevenson Street With Pop-Up Today, Regular Hours MondayPhotos: Dabba/Facebook

Following months of preparation, the Dabba food truck is ready to debut its first brick-and-mortar restaurant.

To break in its permanent digs at 71 Stevenson St., the "global" eatery with a "California state of mind" is hosting a soft opening, with a limited menu, from 2:30-6pm today.

After closing for the weekend, Dabba will reopen with its full menu and regular hours—10:30am-6pm Mondays through Fridays—this Monday, July 11th.

On the full menu, expect the food truck's popular meat and veggie-packed bowls, burritos and tacos, along with a few new entree options, combining flavors from Indian, Mexican and Caribbean cuisines. Happy hour specials, like curried popcorn and a spiced hummus platter, will be served from 4-6pm weekdays, and breakfast is expected to be added down the line.

While Karl the Fog seems to have made himself at home for the summer, those who enjoy dining outdoors—fog or shine—will be pleased to hear that Dabba will offer 50 seats outside, in addition to 30 indoors.
