There's a brand-new cafe in town. The new arrival to Mid-Wilshire, called Met Her At A Bar, is located at 759 S La Brea Ave.
It's the second cafe for the corner spot, which was home to Muse on 8th before it shuttered.
The "hip little neighborhood cafe" that replaced it is serving up a solid menu of breakfast and brunch offerings, such as eggs benedict, breakfast burritos, bagels, a variety of pastries, and its most popular dish: Belgian waffles.
Met Her At A Bar has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Vincent K. said: “Perfect atmosphere mixed with great coffee and food! What else do you want!!?? I'm really impressed with how the new owners reconstructed the place."
And Tyler B. added: "Love this place! A perfect addition to the neighborhood. Vinny and Mindy run the shop and are sooo friendly and cool. Great eats, great drinks, and and a slick vibe. What more can you ask for?"
