A new Korean and Asian fusion spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Bibibop Asian Grill, the fresh addition is located at 1059 Broxton Ave. in Westwood.

The new spot is just the second California outpost for the popular fast-casual restaurant, which initially got its start in Columbus, Ohio. It joins a Beverly Grove location that's already open, and there are more on the way to Los Angeles—further openings are planned for Santa Monica and Hollywood.

Customers start with a base (purple rice, white rice or salad), then add on hot toppings (black beans, bean sprouts or potatoes) and your protein (chicken, spicy chicken, steak or organic tofu). Finish it off with additional toppings and a drizzle of your choice of dressing, from Korean red to teriyaki. And, to get the full Korean dining experience, don't forget to order a side of kimchi to go along with your meal. (See the full menu here.)

With a 4.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, Bibibop Asian Grill seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Jue D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 15th, said: "Visited for the grand opening and but will definitely come back in the future. The staff is very friendly and the food is great as a fusion/modern bibimbap restaurant!"

With a price rating of one dollar sign on Yelp, you can estimate you'll spend less than $10 per person on a visit to Bibibop Asian Grill.
