A new fast-casual Mexican spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 12150 Millennium Dr. in Playa Vista, the fresh addition is called Tocaya Organica.
Expect to chow down on salads, bowls, burritos/wraps and tacos with your choice of protein (from sea bass to achiote chicken to carne asada)and queso (from queso fresco to manchego to jalapeño jack), in addition to sides like street corn, tortilla soup, plantain chips and more. Since the business opened its doors in Venice in 2016, it has added locations in Sunset Plaza, South Beach, and Santa Monica to its roster. You can also look out for additional locations coming to Hollywood, San Diego, Westwood and Century City in the near future.
With a 4.5-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival has been warmly received by patrons.
Aden I., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 18th, said: "Loved it. The ambiance and service made it 5 stars and the food was good enough to keep coming back for more. A great addition to Playa Vista and a better one than the other Mexican here."
Yelper Kristina K. added: “Great healthy lunch joint, especially because it is conveniently located across the street from my office in Silicon Beach. Beware, and this location just opened up a few weeks ago so the lines tend to be on the longer side during weekday and work hours."
