A new location of big-box behemoth Target has made its debut in the neighborhood.

Located at 3131 S Hoover St. in University Park, the new arrival offers a more streamlined selection than its larger Target counterparts, but includes all the essentials, plus an expanded selection of student-friendly supplies to deck out a dorm room.

With a four-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, the new department store has gotten a good response.

Jones B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 22nd, said: "They just opened this new target for SUC students, as it's across the street from the university in the new University Village development."

Yelper Jeannette P. added: “New target near USC!!! The target is a small one compared to the other regular targets (like Eagle Rock, Pasadena, South Gate, and and etc) but this target still carries the essential stuff."
