Looking for a quick cup of quality joe on your way to the office? A new coffee spot called Barista Society, located in the One California Plaza building in DTLA at 300 S Grand Ave., has debuted, serving up artisanal pour-over coffee, espresso, teas, and more.
Barista Society, which has another location at the Skyspace Entrance to the US Bank Tower and another inside Union Station, uses Stumptown and Blue Bottle Coffee for all of its drinks. Items featured include traditional drip-coffee for those on the go, cold brews, and the full range of espresso drinks, including a vegan almond mocha latte.
With just one review on Yelp thus far, Barista Society currently has a five-star rating.
Thainá Z., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on August 4th, said: "Finally a great coffee place in Bunker Hill. Grand opening they were handing out free coffee and cappuccinos. The space was a cool trendy design love their rose gold and copper accents!"
