A new escape game spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called The Laboratory Escape Room, the new arrival is located at 117 E 11th St. in Downtown.

The action-filled entertainment venue gives visitors the opportunity to step inside Dr. Crowl's laboratory and try to solve more than 30 puzzles before the hour is up, in order to "disarm the bomb before it releases the knockout gas and you become subject to Dr. Crowl's experiments."

Tickets are $24 per person, and you must be 18 or older or be accompanied by a guardian to participate. The Laboratory Escape Room also offers an additional escape room for those that want more of a challenge, as well as special bookings for corporate events and private parties. (See the full schedule here.)

The Laboratory Escape Room has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.

Cait F., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 14th, said: "We visited the laboratory last night for a friends birthday. She loves escape rooms and we wanted to surprise her with somewhere new. This place was awesome! It was super challenging and so we only got a little more than halfway through."

Yelper Peso D. added: “This was an interesting and unique location. We ran into these guys at the beach and got hooked up. This was a great first experience. I would define lying recommend it to my friends and fam.”

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: The Laboratory Escape Room is open Friday from 4pm–1am, weekends from noon–1am, and Tuesday–Thursday from 5pm–midnight. (It's closed on Monday.)
